School Field Trips at Samui Elephant Home – Inspiring the Next Generation of Animal Lovers

At Samui Elephant Home Caring & Education Center, we believe that education is the key to building a future where people and elephants can live in harmony. Recently, we had the honor of welcoming the bright and curious students from Lamai International School for an unforgettable school field trip filled with learning, fun, and conservation activities.

During their visit, the students explored Thailand’s first Elephant Museum and learned about the history, culture, and importance of elephants in Thailand. They also discovered the challenges elephants face today and how conservation efforts are helping to protect them.

The program included hands-on activities such as:

Learning at elephant museum

Making seed bomb

Making supplement food for elephants

Participate to feed elephants

Making seed bombs to plant food trees for elephants in the future
Observing elephants in their natural jungle habitat
Feeding elephants and learning about their diet and care

These activities not only taught the students about elephant welfare but also encouraged a sense of empathy, responsibility, and love for animals and the environment.
